Where are we? Angela lives in Lawrence, Otago, New Zealand
Mags lives at Athol, in Southland, or Nelson, New Zealand.
We believe that enjoyment of art comes in two forms - first in its creation, and second in its appreciation.
Both Angela and Mags create art, and also are experienced in teaching, either at our studios in Lawrence in Otago and Athol, in Southland or at venues in the Otago, Southland and Nelson area.
We may also travel further to a venue near you and your art colleagues to tutor classes in mixed media, acrylic based painting, feltmaking and fibre based art work, and classes developing art awareness and art expression in varied media combinations. We offer classes from one day to one week long, and will also teach on a one on one individual tuition basis, usually at our own home studios in southern New Zealand. The content of these art activity classes is fine-tuned to suit the participants, and may include collage, mixed media, painting and fibre work in the same class.
We both enjoy pushing the boundaries of new combinations of media. Both of us have qualifications and have worked in the teaching and tutoring and personal creativity development areas.
Naturally art is also for sale, which for Angela may include mixed media painted work, and feltmaking - both art pieces and clothing, especially felt hats. Mags has painting, and mixed media art works for sale, as well as art in gouache and ink. We sometimes exhibit in New Zealand exhibitions, where we have been award winners, in painting, and in fibre and garment categories. We enjoy creating our own work, as well as inspiring creativity in others, and the occasional art commission.
Art on the art2enjoy website and blogspot is shown to buy, and also to inspire students and other artists in their own work. The blogspot is where recent activities and classes and their creative results are profiled.
